Short, because there is little to describe. This site runs no analytics script, sets no cookies, and makes no request to a third party from your browser.
We have not yet published who the controller is. Until we do, treat this notice as incomplete, and do not give us an address: the form that would collect one is switched off for exactly this reason.
The domain you scan is not kept
When you check a site, the address you type is sent to our server, used to fetch the pages, and discarded when the answer is returned. It is not written to a database, not put in a URL, and not logged by us.
The report exists only in the tab you are reading. Reloading the page loses it, which is the direct consequence of not storing it, and the reason results cannot be linked to or shared.
The site you scanned will see the request in its own logs, along with the address of the server that made it. That is unavoidable when fetching a page, and the scanner identifies itself so any operator who looks can tell what hit them and why.
Counters, and what they cannot say
Four numbers per day are recorded on the server: how many scans ran, how many found no accessibility statement, how many were refused by bot protection, and how many failed for another reason. Alongside them are counts of pack views, unlocks and checkout clicks.
Each is a tally, incremented in place. There is no row per visitor, no identifier, and no domain attached to any of them, so nothing in this data can be traced back to a person or resolved into who checked what. We keep them because the proportion of sites that block the scanner decides a real product question, and no other method would answer it.
Answers to the nine questions
They stay in your browser's local storage. They are sent to our server only when the documents are generated, used to draft them, and not retained afterwards.
That is also why a purchase made on one device does not carry the answers to another. It is the trade for not holding them.
If you give us an email address
Only if you tick the box. The address, the language you were reading in, the consent text as it appeared, and the identifiers of your findings are stored so the summary can be sent and so we can show what was agreed to. No payload of your answers goes with it.
Ask and it is deleted. There is no separate process for this; it is one message.
Payment
Payment is handled by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record. When you leave for the checkout you are on their site under their privacy notice, and we receive the licence key and the order, not your card details.
