Enforcement

Traficom took over all supervision in January 2025 and enforces by order backed by a conditional fine rather than by tariff, so the amount depends on what it takes to compel compliance. Traficom also operates a notification route for non-compliance and exemptions.

Figures circulating in vendor guidance for Finland could not be found in the statute, so none is quoted here.

Directive (EU) 2019/882

The European Accessibility Act has applied since 28 June 2025. Article 13(2) requires you to publish specific information about how your service meets the accessibility requirements, put it with your terms, and show that you monitor it. That is the part companies miss, because unlike a contrast failure you cannot see it by looking at the site.

The documents, drafted for your service

The scan tells you what is missing. The pack is the four documents the Directive actually names: the Annex V information in the form it has to take, the Article 14 assessment if you are claiming a disproportionate burden, the Article 13(3) monitoring procedure, and a dated evidence file. Written against the national instrument for your market.

Written against Directive (EU) 2019/882 and the national instruments named on the country pages. Not legal advice. Every change to this drafting is dated and published.
